Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary
Under general supervision, performs routine and specialized CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality imaging outcomes. This role requires knowledge of anatomy, physiology, patient care, and radiation safety, along with the ability to adapt imaging practices to meet individual patient needs.
Key Responsibilities

Perform CT imaging procedures across all patient types, selecting accurate technical factors and applying age-appropriate care.

Administer contrast in accordance with established policies and observe dose reduction principles (Image Wisely/Image Gently).

Apply knowledge of CT principles, including anatomy, physiology, radiation safety, physics, patient positioning, and patient care skills.

Maintain compliance with Joint Commission, state, federal, organizational, and departmental regulatory standards.

Accurately document patient care activities in electronic health record systems.

Maintain a safe work environment, monitor supplies and inventory, and follow equipment quality control procedures with proper documentation.

Report and document equipment or environmental issues per policy.

Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance workflows, patient experience, and quality outcomes.

Contribute to student and staff training and educational activities.
Qualifications
Education:

Associate degree or certificate in radiologic technology from an accredited program (recognized by USDE or CHEA).
Experience:
-
One year of experience in CT required.
Licensures/Certifications:
-
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiography (R).

Licensed Radiographer in applicable state.

CT Registry preferred but not required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
