Position Description: Advanced Programs Executive

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Programs Executive to promote new initiatives, with a strong track record in pursuing and winning high-tech Federal Government contracts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with agencies such as the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and associated industry partners. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and business acumen to lead efforts in securing complex contracts across a broad range of advanced technology areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Pursuit & Capture:
    Lead identification, pursuit, and capture of opportunities, focusing on high-value contracts with Federal agencies. Develop winning strategies and proposals that align with the objectives of these agencies.

  • Technical Leadership:
    Provide technical vision and leadership in areas such as Systems Engineering and Integration, cyber exploitation and defense, collaborative sensing exploitation, and signal information exploitation. Determine capability gaps and pursue teaming opportunities.

  • Business Development:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders and industry partners. Identify and develop new business opportunities and drive defense portfolio growth.

  • Proposal Development:
    Lead the development of compliant and compelling proposals addressing requirements and evaluation criteria. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical, cost, and management volumes.

  • Market Analysis & Intelligence:
    Perform market analysis and gather intelligence on future procurements, trends, and shifts in government priorities. Use this insight to inform business development strategy and technical investment decisions.

  • Innovation & R&D Leadership:
    Work with internal R&D teams to align development work with future opportunity areas. Drive innovation and incorporate emerging technologies and methodologies into proposal strategies.

Qualifications Required:

  • Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years in a senior technologist and/or business development role focused on Federal Government procurements, including 10 years of managerial experience

  • Demonstrated success in winning or managing high-value contracts

  • Deep understanding of technologies and methodologies relevant to Intelligence-related domains

  • Proven business development track record with Federal agencies

  • Expertise in navigating government procurement processes and knowledge of government budgeting and acquisition

  • Strong leadership and team management skills; able to inspire and guide cross-functional teams

  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance

  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to customer locations and company facilities
