Job Summary
Lead and oversee maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry operations to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility environment. Coordinate facility maintenance activities, manage vendor relationships, supervise staff, maintain regulatory compliance, and support budgeting and operational needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and perform heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical system maintenance.
- Oversee lawn care, landscaping, snow and ice removal, debris removal, and window cleaning.
- Respond to routine and emergency maintenance requests.
- Coordinate facility inspections to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Supervise maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry staff.
- Purchase supplies and manage vendor relationships and contracts.
- Assist with planning and managing facility maintenance budgets.
- Maintain building, grounds, and equipment in safe operating condition.
- Ensure compliance with safety, building, and operational standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in facility maintenance, building operations, or related field.
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical, and facility maintenance.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Strong customer service, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of building and grounds regulations and compliance requirements.
