Job Summary
Performs entry-level engineering tasks under supervision, supporting the design, development, testing, installation, integration, and maintenance of electronic, mechanical, and software systems. Contributes to flight test operations, technical analysis, and engineering projects to ensure systems meet performance and mission requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Supports engineering teams in design, development, and testing activities
- Assists in flight test operations, including planning, execution, and analysis
- Develops and contributes to test strategies and technical documentation
- Performs data analysis and prepares reports, presentations, and technical papers
- Evaluates system performance and recommends improvements or corrections
- Participates in system installation, integration, and operational support
- Collaborates with engineers, program teams, and external stakeholders
- Supports validation, verification, and troubleshooting of systems
- Ensures compliance with engineering standards, procedures, and requirements
- Maintains project progress updates and communicates technical findings
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Knowledge of engineering principles, systems, and tools
- Ability to prepare technical reports and presentations
- Proficiency with computer systems and engineering software
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills
