Job Description:
Summary
Effectively manages the learning environment by preparing lesson plans in Spanish and/or English, instructing students in Spanish and/or English, and evaluating and monitoring student performance to promote academic achievement. Demonstrates an understanding and appreciation of diversity, works collaboratively with colleagues to plan instruction, and shows a strong commitment to continuous professional growth.

Minimum Requirements

Arizona Elementary or Secondary Certificate with Spanish Bilingual Endorsement
(Spanish approved area also required if teaching Spanish)
OR Arizona Early Childhood Certificate with Spanish Bilingual Endorsement
(Spanish approved area also required if teaching Spanish) -
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Preferred Requirements

Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Additional Requirements After Hire

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization

Valid Drivers License (Arizona Drivers License required within 30 days of hire)
