Electrician

Job Description

Under the general direction of the Electrical Supervisor, the Electrician I assists with the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment and medium- to high-voltage power distribution systems. Responsibilities include:

• Inspecting electrical components for safety compliance

• Diagnosing issues using testing equipment

• Repairing or replacing faulty components

• Assisting with the installation and upgrades of electrical systems

• Integrating new equipment into existing systems

• Ensuring adherence to all relevant electrical safety regulations and standards

This position requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, to support 24/7 operational needs.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards

• Ability to use electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment

• Experience assisting with electrical installations, repairs, and system upgrades

• Familiarity with medium- to high-voltage power distribution is a plus

• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
