Job Description
A Construction Manager is sought with proven leadership qualities and strong communication skills to contribute to ongoing success in various sectors across Central California.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide construction management services on a variety of construction projects.

Possess strong knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Serve as the onsite liaison with contractors and oversee construction progress.

Coordinate, direct, and monitor activities of contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and other involved parties.

Manage project controls, including cost, schedule, and performance activities, or as required by the client.

Conduct project meetings, take meeting minutes, and ensure documentation, administration, and tracking of project-related information.

Ensure adherence to contractual requirements, especially concerning safety, staffing, performance, and equipment.

Manage logistics, organization, and safety measures throughout the project.

Ensure complete project closeout to secure guarantees, warranties, and relevant turnover documentation for the owner.

Perform additional duties as necessary to ensure project success.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture is required (extensive relevant construction management experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager is required.

Experience with public projects in California is preferred.

Ability to manage multiple contractors and fast-paced projects simultaneously.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Knowledge and application of construction estimating, cost control, scheduling, documentation, and engineering/construction principles and practices.

Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with construction management systems is preferred.

Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification is preferred.
