About the Role:

As a Facilities Coordinator, you will work with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure that facility tasks and work orders are complete. This job is within the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.

What Youll Do:

  • Use personal vehicle to drive between 3 sites within 15 minutes (mileage reimbursement provided).

  • Work with landlords, tenants, and vendors to ensure implementation and understanding of all procedures, policies, and reporting formats.

  • Acknowledge all client inquiries and collect work orders.

  • Collect information reports to determine performance and progress status.

  • File work orders, proposals, department files, and other paperwork submitted by vendors.

  • Manage outdoor activities related to the facility, such as appropriate waste disposal and recycling.

  • Follow guidelines, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions.

  • Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.

  • Use existing procedures to resolve straightforward problems with limited opportunity for discretion.

  • Deliver assigned tasks by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and mentorship.

What Youll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.

  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

  • Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
