Job Description

The Business Development Executive is responsible for obtaining leads and securing Bulk/R.O.E. agreements within multi-dwelling (MDU) and single-family home (SFU) communities. The primary focus will be on residential products and services, with potential cross-functional work in other divisions as opportunities arise (e.g., Mixed-Use or Condo-Hotel properties).

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned territory of potential MDU and SFU communities to generate leads, maximize prospects, and secure new agreements

  • Assist the account management team in renegotiating or extending service agreements with existing communities

  • Achieve and exceed assigned lead generation and sales quotas

  • Conduct presentations to property managers, boards of directors, developers, consultants, or decision makers responsible for telecommunications services

  • Create proposals or respond to RFP questionnaires promptly, providing professional and consistent follow-up on all business opportunities

  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure contracts align with negotiated business points and are delivered timely within client expectations

  • Attend community events, tradeshows, business development associations, and networking events to pursue new business opportunities

  • Work with marketing and event teams to organize sales demonstrations and tours, including collateral, giveaways, refreshments, entertainment, transportation, and logistics

  • Maintain expertise on market competition and local industry trends affecting the business

  • Participate heavily in the launch process when new communities enter agreements, ensuring projects meet expectations set during negotiations

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree highly preferred

  • Minimum five years in a business development role within the telecommunications industry

  • Experience selling telecommunications services and negotiating long-term bulk service agreements

  • Outdoor sales experience and/or contacts within local property management, real estate, or developer markets a plus

  • Demonstrated success in quota attainment and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Energetic, self-motivated, and driven to succeed while working independently within company guidelines

  • Flexible, proactive, and professional presentation skills

  • Reliable attendance and ability to work nights, weekends, or flexible schedules as business needs require
