About the Role:
As an Assistant Facilities Manager, you will support general facilities operations in regulated spaces. This role is part of the Facilities Management function, which focuses on ensuring safe, efficient, and well-maintained operations of building assets. You will also support Property Managers by assisting with repairs and small-scale projects while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
What Youll Do:

Perform general maintenance duties such as painting, patchwork, and minor architectural repairs (e.g., cabinets, doors, windows).

Escort vendors throughout the facility for maintenance and repair activities.

Install fixtures like shelving, hooks, paper towel racks, and other equipment.

Support frontline clients with day-to-day facilities requests.

Assist trades personnel with both corrective and preventative maintenance tasks.

Work within standardized procedures to complete assigned duties.

Exchange straightforward information, ask clarifying questions, and ensure understanding among team members.

Contribute to a safe and clean working environment and model professional behavior aligned with organizational values.
What Youll Need:

Bachelor's degree preferred, with up to 3 years of relevant experience. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Ability to follow standard operating procedures to solve routine problems.

Competency in analyzing information and applying general best practices to make informed decisions.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, inquisitive mindset.
