About the Role:

As an Assistant Facilities Manager, you will support general facilities operations in regulated spaces. This role is part of the Facilities Management function, which focuses on ensuring safe, efficient, and well-maintained operations of building assets. You will also support Property Managers by assisting with repairs and small-scale projects while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.

What Youll Do:

  • Perform general maintenance duties such as painting, patchwork, and minor architectural repairs (e.g., cabinets, doors, windows).

  • Escort vendors throughout the facility for maintenance and repair activities.

  • Install fixtures like shelving, hooks, paper towel racks, and other equipment.

  • Support frontline clients with day-to-day facilities requests.

  • Assist trades personnel with both corrective and preventative maintenance tasks.

  • Work within standardized procedures to complete assigned duties.

  • Exchange straightforward information, ask clarifying questions, and ensure understanding among team members.

  • Contribute to a safe and clean working environment and model professional behavior aligned with organizational values.

What Youll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with up to 3 years of relevant experience. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures to solve routine problems.

  • Competency in analyzing information and applying general best practices to make informed decisions.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, inquisitive mindset.
