Position Overview:

Reporting to the Management team, our Sales Associates understand that retail is a billboard for the brand. They take pride in being professional, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable brand ambassadors inside and outside the store to ensure success within the recreational cannabis landscape. Sales Associates are curious, thoughtful, and sales-oriented individuals who impart cannabis wisdom and create positive customer relationships to build a loyal customer base.

Job Functions:

  • Work as a team player and contribute to a positive working environment

  • Exceed expectations by working to meet the mission: to provide the ultimate one-stop-shop cannabis experience by offering exceptional customer service and diversified products, with the goal of building long-term customer loyalty

  • Promote an environment and culture that is focused on positive and healthy interactions aligned with core values

  • Advise customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains

  • Demonstrate an elevated level of cannabis knowledge and curate experiences that go beyond expectations

  • Create intentional experiences for customers by building authentic relationships and delivering exceptional service

  • Drive customer visit goals and increase returning customer rates; achieve sales goals and business metrics

  • Fulfill pickup orders

  • Seek opportunities to contribute to and improve business results daily

  • Adhere to all training, operational standards, and procedures

  • Stay informed about company communication, rollouts, directives, and procedures

  • Abide by all policies and programs

  • Comply with all legislative requirements for cannabis retailers, including federal, state, and DCC laws and regulations

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 21 years of age

  • High school diploma

  • Preference given to candidates with open availability

    • Open availability includes the ability to work days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays

    • All employees must be able to work 2 weekend days (FridaySunday); final schedules are subject to workforce needs

  • At least 1 year of retail or hospitality experience preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer

  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist
