Job Summary

The Senior Cloud Infrastructure and Network Automation Engineer designs, implements, and optimizes cloud-based infrastructure and automated network systems to ensure scalability, security, and operational efficiency. This role drives infrastructure modernization through cloud architecture best practices, automation frameworks, and performance optimization while supporting seamless integration across cloud and on-premise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable cloud environments across major cloud platforms.

  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

  • Implement cloud architecture and security best practices.

  • Develop and maintain network automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions.

  • Integrate cloud and on-premise network services for seamless operations.

  • Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and security issues.

  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and network workflows.

  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and performance management solutions.

  • Analyze system metrics and recommend infrastructure improvements.

  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to support application and service deployments.

  • Mentor junior engineers and promote automation best practices.

  • Maintain accurate documentation for architectures, configurations, and processes.

  • Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, networking, and automation.

  • Strong expertise with cloud platforms and services.

  • Hands-on experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code tools.

  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including VPNs, firewalls, DNS, and TCP/IP.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and orchestration.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms.

  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools is a plus.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
