Job Summary

A full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) opportunity is available within a Family Medicine practice. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive primary healthcare services and patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.

The provider will assess, plan, and manage patient care while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to evidence-based practices. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, and provide primary care services

  • Perform comprehensive patient examinations

  • Compile and document appropriate patient information in the medical record

  • Review diagnostic reports and make appropriate clinical recommendations

  • Prescribe and refill medications in accordance with state regulations

  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers

  • Deliver patient education and promote preventive health measures

  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation

Qualifications

Education:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

Experience:
None required

Licensure/Certification:

  • Current Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LNP) or Physician Assistant license

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (if applicable to NP)

  • DEA license

  • AHA BLS-HCP certification required

  • Advanced Life Support certification preferred

  • Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with state regulations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare providers

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Computer literacy, including experience with electronic medical records systems
