VigorCare Pediatric Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. The Cybersecurity Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data systems and networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Monitor network traffic and system logs for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to continuously improve our security posture.
- Work closely with IT and other teams to implement security controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
- Participate in the development and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure the security of third-party systems and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of network and system security, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and encryption.
- Experience with security tools such as vulnerability scanners, SIEM, and antivirus software.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards such as HIPAA and PCI DSS.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
