Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead and deliver power engineering projects within the transformer and substation domain. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle—from planning and execution to delivery—ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams by setting clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables, while motivating team members and providing regular feedback.
- Manage end-to-end project execution to meet customer requirements, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, quality, and financial targets.
- Develop and maintain project plans covering scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.
- Monitor project progress and ensure best practices in cost control, resource utilization, risk mitigation, and health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks, including sharing lessons learned and driving continuous improvement.
- Coordinate contract execution, negotiations, and claims with customers, working closely with supply chain and legal stakeholders.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones in line with contractual obligations and organizational standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant regulations, company procedures, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power) or a related field.
- Over 3 years of experience in project management or project engineering, preferably within power transformers, substations, or LV/MV/HV switchgear industries.
- Proven experience managing project scope, budget, schedule, and subcontractors/vendors.
- Strong technical knowledge of power systems, particularly transformers and utility/industrial market segments.
- Valid Electrical Engineering license (if applicable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Fluent command of English.
