Job Summary:
Support the Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer in planning, coordinating, monitoring, and delivering engineering and construction projects safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer in coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and ensuring effective project execution.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of project budgets, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, action registers, and project records.
- Participate in project meetings and support communication between internal teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, costs, and deliverables, and provide timely updates to the Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer.
- Support Management of Change (MOC) processes and project governance requirements.
- Assist in project risk assessments, lessons learned reviews, kick-off meetings, and other project management activities.
- Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture and compliance with HSE requirements.
- Identify project constraints and opportunities for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance project performance and deliverable quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering, project coordination, or project management within the engineering, construction, or EPC industry.
- Experience in EPC projects involving offshore platforms, modules, oil & gas facilities, energy, petrochemical, or industrial projects.
- Good understanding of project management processes, project controls, scheduling, and cost monitoring.
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and work effectively in a multidisciplinary project environment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Management of Change (MOC), risk management, and project reporting processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of project management tools is an advantage.
- Good command of both written and spoken English.
