Job Summary:

We are seeking a Project Planner to support the planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting of Oil & Gas fabrication projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for project scheduling, progress tracking, manpower planning, and performance reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop and maintain project and construction schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly.
  • Analyze project logic, work sequences, and critical paths.
  • Prepare and monitor six-week look-ahead plans, identifying critical activities and potential risks.
  • Coordinate schedule changes with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and installation teams.
  • Prepare project progress reports and schedule updates for management and clients.
  • Develop and maintain planning tools, trackers, and reporting templates.

Manpower Planning:

  • Plan and forecast manpower requirements based on project schedules.
  • Monitor manpower loading and resource allocation.
  • Prepare man-hour, productivity, and performance reports.
  • Analyze workforce utilization and recommend improvements to support project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation, Industrial Engineering, or related fields).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Offshore, Fabrication, or EPC projects.
  • Hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in project estimation, project controls, or construction management will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
