Our client is a leading EPC company providing end-to-end engineering, procurement, and construction services to the oil & gas, petrochemical, power, and energy sectors.
Position: Senior Project Planner
Type of Hiring: Permanent
Working Location: Chonburi
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update resource-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor project progress, analyze schedule performance, and identify potential delays or risks.
- Prepare recovery plans and recommend corrective actions to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Manage and control manpower planning, budget allocation, and productivity tracking for assigned disciplines.
- Measure, analyze, and report project progress in accordance with contractual and project requirements.
- Prepare periodic planning and progress reports for management and clients.
- Participate in weekly and monthly project review meetings, providing schedule analysis and recommendations.
- Coordinate with project teams, engineering, procurement, and construction functions to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Provide planning expertise, guidance, and mentoring to Project Planners and junior team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or EPC industries.
- Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and project controls methodologies.
- Solid understanding of project lifecycle management, construction sequencing, resource planning, and schedule risk analysis.
- Experience in developing and managing resource-loaded schedules for large-scale projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment.
