Area Sales Manager (Electrical)

Position: Area Sales Manager Electrical Power & Solutions

Working: Monday Friday

Location: Bangkok Metropolitan Region

Starting Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive sales growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities within the assigned region.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with industrial clients, consultants, contractors, and key decision-makers.

Value-Based Selling

  • Understand customer needs and present tailored technical solutions that demonstrate clear value and ROI.
  • Conduct client presentations and product demonstrations to convey the benefits of the companys offerings.

Project Management Support:

  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless execution from pre-sales through post-sales support.
  • Oversee customer projects to ensure alignment with timelines, specifications, and commercial terms.

Market & Competitor Analysis:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform strategy.
  • Provide regular feedback and reporting on market developments to senior management.

CRM & Reporting:

  • Utilize CRM tools to manage customer accounts, sales pipeline and forecast revenue.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and present to leadership as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in electrical power systems or solutions.
  • Proven experience with value-based selling techniques.
  • Strong understanding of project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts and projects concurrently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
  • Good command of English
