SSHE Lead

 Job Description:

Our client is a leading operation company in the oil and gas industry. They are looking to hire multiple inspectors to join their team.

Position: SSHE Lead

Type of Hiring:     Contract 2 Years

Job Descriptions:

  • Address and respond to SSHE issues at project site offices, contractor fabrication yards, and offshore sites.
  • Interact and advise SSHE Supervisors, Company Site Representative (CSR), Project Engineer, and Project Operational and Technical Staff on SSHE matters, including contract requirements, rules, standards, regulatory issues, derogations, and necessary remedial actions.
  • Guide, coach, and advise technical and operational staff in SSHE matters during the execution phase, covering methodology, techniques, practices, and concepts.
  • Manage overall SSHE matters, ensuring knowledge transfer within the organization.
  • Collaborate with CSR, Project Engineer, and Contract SSHE Engineer to support projects, ensuring EPCI Contractor and relevant parties comply with the EPCI scope of work and meeting project requirements within agreed timeframes and an approved budget.


Qualifications: 

  • 10 years of experience in a similar role, including 5 years in an oil and gas company, with a strong understanding of oil and gas production and project construction OGP SSHE codes and standards within EPCI scope.
  • Proficient in contractual terms and conditions, with a focus on SSHE technical and quality aspects.
  • Essential experience includes working in an onshore fabrication yard and/or offshore facilities corresponding to the assigned location.
  • Will serve as the SSHE Lead, responsible for managing the overall SSHE Management System (SSHE MS) and implementing it for wellhead platform fabrication, transport, installation, hook-up, and pre-commissioning activities.
