- Develop and review T&I engineering philosophies, procedures, and specifications.
- Act as the primary technical interface for T&I matters with internal stakeholders (e.g., project management, construction, operations) and external parties (e.g., clients, contractors, Marine Warranty Surveyors - MWS).
- T&I Methodologies & Analysis:
- Develop and optimize detailed T&I methodologies for various offshore operations, including:
- Load-out (e.g., skid, strand jack, SPMT) of jackets, topsides, modules, and subsea structures.
- Sea fastening design and analysis for transportation of structures on barges/vessels.
- Transportation analysis (motion analysis, stability) in varying sea states.
- Offshore heavy lifts (e.g., jacket launches/lifts, topsides lifts/float-overs) using heavy lift vessels/barges.
- Pipelaying (rigid/flexible) and subsea cable installation.
- Subsea structure installation (PLETs, PLEMs, manifolds, templates, spools).
- Riser installation and tie-in operations.
- Offshore hook-up and commissioning support.
- Perform and/or oversee complex engineering analyses using specialized software (e.g., MOSES, SACS, OrcaFlex, GHS, ABAQUS/ANSYS, STAAD Pro, MARS) for:
- Dynamic and static analysis of offshore lifts, launches, and float-overs.
- Hydrodynamic analysis for marine operations.
- Global and local structural analysis for sea fastening and temporary structures.
- Pipelay analysis (on-bottom stability, spanning, fatigue).
- Develop and optimize detailed T&I methodologies for various offshore operations, including:
- Risk Management & Safety:
- Participate actively in HAZID, HAZOP, TR (Technical Review), and other risk assessment workshops related to T&I operations.
- Identify potential T&I risks and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all T&I activities are designed and executed according to project HSE requirements, industry best practices, and relevant regulations (e.g., IMO, DNV, ABS, API).
- Interface Management:
- Manage technical interfaces with fabrication yards, marine contractors, vessel operators, and MWS.
- Review and approve the contractor's T&I procedures, installation manuals, engineering reports, and MWS close-out reports.
- Provide technical support during tender evaluations for the T&I scope.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare, review, and approve T&I engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and cost control for the T&I scope.
- Provide regular progress reports to the project management team, highlighting key T&I issues, risks, and opportunities.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of new T&I technologies, equipment, and methodologies in the offshore industry.
- Propose innovative solutions to optimize T&I execution, reduce costs, and improve safety.
Qualifications & Experience:
