Position: Operation Specialist (Air Logistic)

Type of hire: 6 Months Contract ** Under Vinarco

Working: 5 Days/Week, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

Air Logistics Coordination:

• Oversee and manage air logistics operations, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods via airfreight.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, and other service providers to arrange and monitor shipments.
• Utilize expertise in freight forwarding to plan and execute the movement of goods through various stages of the supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
• Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documents, including bills of lading, air waybills, and customs paperwork.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, tracking information, and related documentation.
• Act as a primary point of contact for customers, providing updates on shipment status and addressing inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific logistics needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
• Identify and resolve issues related to logistics operations, such as delays, damages, or regulatory challenges.
• Implement corrective actions and communicate solutions to relevant stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with a team of logistics professionals, sharing information and coordinating efforts to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide support and assistance to team members when needed.
• Evaluate existing processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to implement innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Air Logistics Operations.
• Proven background in freight forwarding with a comprehensive understanding of the entire logistics process.
• Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. Willingness to contribute to the success of the overall logistics team.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Resilience in handling challenges and maintaining a positive attitude.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and external partners.
• Good command of English.
