Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to engineering execution for offshore platforms, onshore facilities, and renewable energy projects such as wind farms. This role involves overseeing electrical design, procurement, construction support, and quality assurance throughout all project phases.

Responsibilities

1. Detailed Engineering & Design

• Develop and review detailed electrical design, calculations, MTOs, and technical documentation.
• Prepare specifications and Basis of Design Reports.
• Manage vendor data review, technical queries, and deviations.
• Provide CTRs (Cost, Time, and Resources) and manpower planning.

2. Project Management

• Lead and coordinate all electrical engineering activities within assigned projects.
• Ensure project milestones are delivered on time and within budget.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks; ensure effective client interface and communication.
• Produce regular progress and performance reports.

3. Project Procurement

• Develop material specifications and take-offs for electrical systems.
• Liaise with vendors to ensure compliance with technical and QA/QC standards.

4. Construction & Offshore Support

• Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Resolve site-related engineering issues and respond to technical queries.

5. Quality Assurance & Control

• Ensure all design and procurement activities comply with internal QA/QC procedures.
• Participate in the review and resolution of PRNCAs related to electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the offshore and onshore oil & gas industry, focusing on electrical design for platforms, pipelines, modules for refineries and plants, and wind farms.
• Strong knowledge of electrical system design, fabrication, and installation for offshore and onshore facilities.
• In-depth understanding of international design codes and standards such as API, IEC, ISO, ISA, and NEC.
• Proficient in power system analysis tools, especially ETAP or similar.
