Project Coordinator (oil & Gas)

 Job Description:

Our client the specializes in designing and installing structures for the oil and gas industry, particularly for offshore drilling platforms.

Position: Project Coordinator (Contract)

Salary: Negotiation

Employment Status: Contract until 31 Mar 26

Working Hour: Mon Fri 8.00 18.00 Hrs.

Office Location: SCB Park Plaza, Ratchayothin, BKK And Leamchabang, Chonburi.

Responsibilities

1. Project Management

  • Participate in development of projects budget, cost estimates and project management schedule
  • Participate in weekly progress meetings
  • Coordinate design and procurement, and ensure timely deliverables from design to procurement, construction and HUC
  • Monitor functional group planning and progress
  • Coordinate with each function to ensure timely delivery of all project deliverables
  • Assist Project Manager to conduct project risk assessment and project lesson learned regularly
  • Maintain efficient communication between all parties, act as Project Manager when relevant, assist with sign-off/approvals
  • Liaise with individuals in the client organization where appropriate

2. Leadership

3. Management

  • Delegate as appropriately
  • Make decisions to clarify or expedite work
  • Monitor performance and feedback to Project Manager
  • Monitor performance of functional groups and provide feedback to Project Manager
  • Determine the interface issues and establish a framework to enable easy agreement and correspondence at the interfaces to ensure the adequate and timely handling
  • Administrator to identify, review and update the interface register regularly
  • Review and approve related documentation/deliverables produced by functional groups

4. Coordination

  • Chair various project related meetings
  • Review planning within the project to check activities are clearly defined, sequenced and resourced
  • Review and check cost and schedule progress reports
  • Provide options when faced with problems or conflicts

5. People and Resources

  • Provide on the job training and mentoring for specific members of the PMT or Project Department
  • Participate in recruitment

6. Construction

  • Verification that important activities are complete and checking they meet standards required
  • Coordinate with Construction Engineering Manager/ Production Manager to ensure proper method statements/procedures are implementing on site.

7. Process Improvement/Project management best practice

  • To continually investigate ways to improve efficiency in project management process and managing project execution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degrees in Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in project management / Minimum of 2 years experience in interface management
  • Experience in EPC of offshore wellhead platform, offshore module and/or others facilities in oil & gas and/or energy sectors.
  • Knowledge of project management processes
