Our client is a leading operation company in the oil and gas industry. They are looking to hire multiple inspectors to join their team.

Job Descriptions

  • Work closely with the company site representative to achieve project delivery and quality objectives.
  • Read and understand codes, standards, project specifications, and relevant documents.
    • Perform quality control and oversight of construction activities.
    • Monitor contractor inspections and testing according to approved plans and specifications.
    • Execute specific inspections on materials, equipment, and construction and installation activities.
    • Check cable laying and cable identification, and perform relevant loop checks.
    • Conduct punch-listing operations.
    • Inspect power transformers, switchboards, batteries, sockets, lighting systems, and other electrical components.
    • Perform visual inspections, dimensional tests, and checks for rating and material connections.
    • Conduct tests for continuity and insulation resistance.
    • Witness and calibrate safety valves, instruments, and equipment.
    • Check installations of electrical, instrumentation, and telecommunication equipment.
    • Verify special processes and workers' qualifications.
    • Witness tests, controls, and inspections, ensuring conformity with the Quality Control Plan.
    • Record and summarize inspection results, punch lists, and recommendations in the company's template.
    • Monitor and report daily progress, inspection results, and concerns to the COMPANY Site Representative.
    • Report immediately any non-conformances and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
    • Report deviations in the performance or quality of fabrication and installation work.
    • Assist the company site representative in resolving quality-related discrepancies and issues, particularly in E&I and telecommunication system equipment.
    • Promote quality awareness proactively among all project personnel.
    • Provide feedback and share lessons learned to contribute to the continuous improvement of project quality.
    • Actively participate in SSHE (Safety, Security, Health, and Environment) activities to promote compliance with project requirements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Cultivate smooth and efficient working relations with Contractors, COMPANY Project Team, Operations, and Asset Representatives as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • 15 years of experience in a similar role, with 5 years specifically in the oil and gas industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of oil and gas industry standards is within the EPCI scope of work.
    • Proficient in managing and coordinating all construction phases, ensuring strict adherence to specifications, on-schedule progress, budget compliance, and high-quality outcomes.
    • Qualifications and experience in wellhead platform construction, offshore platform installation, and pipeline installation on derrick lay barges and/or brownfield modifications.
    • Willingness and ability to travel to the worksite, including offshore assignments, and flexibility for rotation-based work.
