Subcontracts Specialist - for Oil and gas
Job Description:
Our client is A specialized EPCI provider, offering a unique range of construction-related services tailored to international oil and gas companies.
Location: Bangkok Office
Type of hire: Contract 2 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate potential subcontractors to fulfill project requirements, ensuring alignment with scope of services and competitive pricing.
- Manage the Subcontractor Register, overseeing pre-qualification processes, evaluations, and updates to the Approved Vendor List (AVL).
- Act as the focal point for technical clarifications during the pre-award process, facilitating effective communication between internal stakeholders and subcontractors.
- Conduct Commercial Bid Evaluations, negotiate terms, and make recommendations for subcontract awards.
- Prepare and finalize subcontract documents, including but not limited to, Letters of Award (LOA) and Subcontracting Services Agreements.
- Administer and manage assigned Request for Proposal (RFP) packages throughout the procurement lifecycle, from pre-award activities to post-award closeout.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in payment processes related to subcontract agreements.
- Implement and maintain controls to ensure subcontractors adhere to established processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in any field from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in subcontracting and/or procurement roles.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry, or within the Construction/Fabrication sectors, is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills are essential for effective interaction with subcontractors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with application systems such as Oracle, SAP, or MRP.
- Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
