We are looking for a Piping/Test Package Engineer to support piping and mechanical fabrication, installation, and testing activities for industrial plant and Oil & Gas projects. The successful candidate will work closely with fabrication, construction, material management, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure project execution meets quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support for piping and mechanical fabrication, installation, and testing activities.
  • Coordinate with Structural, Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), and other disciplines throughout project execution.
  • Prepare material take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
  • Coordinate material transfers and requirements with the Material Management team.
  • Develop detailed work procedures, method statements, and activity sequences for construction and fabrication works.
  • Review and resolve shop drawing discrepancies with fabrication and construction teams.
  • Prepare Technical Queries (TQs) and coordinate with engineering teams when technical issues cannot be resolved at site.
  • Maintain and update engineering references, including P&IDs, Isometric Drawings, Line Lists, and Drawing Registers.
  • Support testing and commissioning preparation, including test package compilation and documentation.
  • Monitor work progress and ensure engineering deliverables support project schedules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Offshore, EPC, or Industrial Plant projects.
  • Good knowledge of piping systems, fabrication, installation, and testing activities.
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, Isometric Drawings, and engineering documents.
  • Strong planning, scheduling, and coordination skills.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
