Position: Senior Sales Engineer (HV Products – Utility Market)

Type of Hiring: Permanent

Working hours: 5 Days/Week

Location: Bangpoo, Samut Prakan, Thailand

Start Date: ASAP

Job Summary:

Senior Sales Engineer responsible for selling high‑voltage (HV) products to utility customers in Thailand. You will understand customer needs, propose technical solutions, and manage the full sales process while building strong long‑term relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the key technical and commercial point of contact for customers in the utility sector.
  • Understand customer requirements and propose suitable HV product solutions aligned with project needs.
  • Prepare technical proposals, presentations, and solution recommendations for customers and consultants.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle including opportunity development, technical discussions, quotations, and contract negotiation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with utility clients, EPCs, and key industry stakeholders to drive long‑term business growth.
  • Support tender submissions, ensuring all technical and commercial requirements are met.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering, product, and service teams to ensure accurate solution delivery and timely customer support.
  • Track sales opportunities and maintain accurate records using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Conduct regular customer visits and market research to identify new business opportunities and understand competitor activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant HV standards, safety requirements, and company policies throughout the sales process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering.
  • + 5 year's experience in sales, technical sales, or application engineering within the power transmission & distribution industry in Thailand.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HV equipment, power systems, grid technologies, and applicable IEC/IEEE standards.
  • Ability to understand complex technical specifications and develop commercially competitive solutions.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships at multiple levels.
  • Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and able to work both independently and within a team.
  • Have valid driver's license and willing to travel frequently within Thailand.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Good command of English.
