Mechanical Manager (Design)

Position: Mechanical Manager (Design)

Industry: General Contractor Design, Engineering, Construction, M&E, Project Management Projects: Commercial & Industrial

Location: Bangkok

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage mechanical design activities for commercial and industrial building projects.
  • Develop and review mechanical system designs including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other building services.
  • Ensure designs comply with Thai building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and design staff.
  • Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and BIM models.
  • Conduct site visits to verify design implementation and resolve technical issues.
  • Support project bidding and cost estimation processes with technical input.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities for design approvals and permits.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures for design deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical design work, preferably in commercial and industrial projects.
  • Possession of a Mechanical Engineer License (2nd Class) is mandatory.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and BIM tools (Revit).
  • Strong skills in MS Office for documentation and reporting.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written) for communication with international clients and consultants.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
