Job Description:

We are looking for a strong Operating Unit Controller to partner with business leaders and drive financial performance across assigned business units. This role will lead financial planning, monitoring, and analysis while supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring financial governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a finance business partner to business leaders, supporting strategy development and execution
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the assigned business unit
  • Monitor financial performance (P&L, margins, cash flow) and provide actionable insights to improve profitability
  • Translate business strategies into financial plans, KPIs, and measurable targets
  • Perform financial analysis, scenario planning, and provide recommendations for key business decisions
  • Drive cost optimization, productivity improvement, and working capital management
  • Identify and manage financial and commercial risks, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and standards
  • Oversee financial reporting accuracy, transparency, and timely closing activities
  • Establish and maintain internal controls and support internal/external audits
  • Collaborate with regional/global finance teams, accounting, and shared service centers
  • Lead and develop finance team members (e.g., FP&A analysts, project controllers)
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, preferably in business controlling, FP&A, or commercial finance
  • Experience with P&L management and team leadership
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business insights
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (S/4HANA is a plus) and financial systems
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and ability to work in a multinational environment
  • Proactive mindset with ability to drive change and continuous improvement
  • Good command of English
