About the job Technical Detailer (Revit)
A Technical Detailer, proficient in Revit, is required to join a rapidly expanding who specialise in SFS and structural steel.
My Client is a Steelwork Design & Detailing Consultancy that is experiencing continuous growth and development due to a customer supportive approach to the market. With current workload and an ever expanding development of Clients they are in a strong position to further add to their current team.
Specialising in design & detailing of pre-panelised Light Gauge Steel Structures, alongside a variety of other primary & secondary steelwork projects including SFS Infill, Modular frames, Traditional hot rolled structures, Portal frames, Platforms/Walkways, Ramps, Canopies, Stairs, Balustrade, Balconies etc.
Technical Detailer requirements:
- Ideally qualified to BTEC or HNC level in a relevant subject
- Previous experience working as a steelwork detailer, ideally within the light gauge cold rolled sector
- Can confidently use Revit and AutoCAD to produce a range of technical drawings and full design drawing packages for projects; from inception to completion
- Proficient in managing contract information & keeping to deadlines
As a valued team player you will be willing to learn from and positively contribute to a team with a wealth of experience and knowledge. Your role would include:
- Utilising Revit to detail a variety of SFS projects
- Coordinating and managing projects
- Attending project DTMs (mainly via teams)
- Liaising with external Consultants and Clients
- Creating & controlling project RFIs
- Utilising design team IFCs & AutoCAD DWGs to progress contracts
- Production of set out GA & Install drawings within Revit
- Produce material call of lists etc.
