We are looking for Logistics Assistant to support our Logistics function, working closely with colleagues in Italy and Greece.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor import/export shipments, with a particular focus on maritime routes.

  • Coordinate with port logistics providers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport companies.

  • Handle customs documentation and prepare import/export procedures.

  • Verify the correct execution of customs operations and related documentation flows.

  • Monitor lead times and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies.

  • Archive documentation and prepare logistics and customs reports.

  • Support initiatives aimed at optimizing logistics and customs processes.

The ideal candidate

  • Previous experience in logistics roles, preferably in import/export and customs-related environments.

  • Knowledge of customs documentation and procedures.

  • Experience in organizing and managing maritime shipments.

  • Basic knowledge of international supply chain processes.

  • Strong proficiency in IT tools (Excel, logistics/customs management systems).

  • Customs broker license or eligibility to obtain it will be considered an advantage.

  • Accuracy, reliability, and good interpersonal skills.

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.

  • Very good command of English for communication with international partners.
