Location: Chicago, IL, Onsite
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule:
8 patient-care sessions per week
1 administrative session per week
One evening per week, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM
One Saturday every four weeks, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a weekday off
OB call rotation included 24-hour shifts rotating among 8 to 12 physicians
Compensation: Competitive salary plus $350 per delivery
Language Requirement: Bilingual skills (Spanish or Polish) not required, but considered a strong plus
Overview
An established, full-service outpatient health center in Chicago is seeking a committed Family Medicine MD or Internal Medicine MD with an Obstetrics focus. The physician will provide comprehensive primary care, participate in obstetrics and gynecology coverage, and may choose to precept Family Medicine residents. This role also includes serving as a collaborating physician for 12 Advanced Practice Providers.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver full-spectrum primary care across all ages
Provide obstetric care, including deliveries
Participate in after-hours call rotation
Optionally precept Family Medicine residents
Complete EMR documentation (Athena) within required timelines
Manage a patient load of approximately 26 to 28 patients per day
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including Behavioral Health, MAT, Dental, and Substance Use services
Required Qualifications
MD or DO in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Board Certified or Board Eligible must obtain certification within one year of start.
Active Illinois medical license or eligibility to obtain
Clinical experience or training in Obstetrics
Willingness to serve as a Collaborating Physician for APPs
Commitment to accessible, compassionate, culturally respectful care
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Polish is not required, but a significant advantage
Experience working in community health or underserved populations
Interest in resident teaching and precepting
