Job Purpose
As an Internal Medicine Physician, you will provide full-spectrum adult primary care, manage chronic diseases, and work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, compassionate, and accessible healthcare for all patients. This role also provides opportunities for professional development, leadership growth, and participation in community health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Patient Care: Evaluate patients, conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, and provide preventive health education.
- Chronic Disease Management: Monitor and manage long-term conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and other complex illnesses.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, referring to specialists as needed, to ensure coordinated and continuous patient care.
- Patient Education: Counsel patients on lifestyle, nutrition, and preventive practices to support long-term wellness.
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient records, treatment plans, and follow-up documentation in compliance with clinical standards.
- Professional Growth: Participate in continuing medical education (CME), maintain board certification, and stay updated on the latest advancements in internal medicine.
- Community Engagement: Contribute to outreach programs and initiatives that promote public health and preventive care awareness.
Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine

Active and unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain one in Missouri)
