Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospitalist to join a well-established inpatient care team in Midwest City, Oklahoma. This position offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive, high-quality care within a stable and respected practice that has been serving the community for many years.

This is a full-time inpatient role with no outpatient clinic duties, ideal for a physician who values teamwork, continuity of care, and work-life balance.

Position Details

  • Schedule: 7 days on to 7 days off (Daytime)

  • Job Type: Full-time, Contract

  • Salary: $320,000 to $350,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

  • Location: Midwest City, OK

  • Specialty: Hospital Medicine

  • Time Off: 26 weeks off per year

Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient medical care, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning.

  • Manage acute and chronic medical conditions within the hospital setting.

  • Collaborate closely with nursing staff, specialists, and case management teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary care meetings and clinical discussions.

  • Document all patient encounters accurately and timely within the electronic medical record (EMR).

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to promote coordinated, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.

  • Valid and unrestricted Oklahoma medical license (required).

  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (preferred).

  • Prior hospitalist or inpatient care experience strongly preferred.

  • Excellent clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
