About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (FNP/AGNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an urgent care setting. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic evaluations.

  • Diagnose and manage acute conditions such as infections, injuries, and respiratory illnesses.

  • Perform minor procedures, including suturing, wound care, splinting, and abscess drainage.

  • Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests such as laboratory work, X-rays, and EKGs.

  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans based on evidence-based clinical guidelines.

  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care measures.

  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.

  • Adhere to clinical protocols, infection control measures, and regulatory compliance standards.

  • Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care that supports both acute treatment and long-term wellness.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in nursing (MSN) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or master's in physician assistant studies.

  • Active and unrestricted Oklahoma NP or PA license and national certification (FNP, AGNP, or PA-C).

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a related acute care setting (preferred).

  • Proficiency in performing urgent care procedures and managing acute medical cases.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts as part of a rotating schedule.
