Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) - OH
Job Description:
Location: Northeast Ohio
Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 annually
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality primary medical and behavioral health care to adults, children, and families. Under the supervision of the Medical Director and in collaboration with a physician as mandated by Ohio law, the NP/PA will deliver holistic care across various healthcare needs within the northeast Ohio area.

Key Responsibilities:

Examine, diagnose, and treat illnesses and injuries across the lifespan.

Conduct well-child, well-woman, and well-man health maintenance exams.

Order and interpret screening, diagnostic, lab, and radiographic tests.

Develop and implement patient care plans based on examination and test results.

Prescribe medications, therapeutic agents, and treatments within scope of practice.

Promote health education, disease prevention, and patient empowerment.

Provide age-appropriate care and support patient- and family-centered care.

Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Refer patients to specialists and coordinate mutual patient care.

Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with program standards.

Potentially instruct medical or nursing students.

Perform duties within scope of practice across multiple locations as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of preventative medicine principles.

Familiarity with Ohio state and federal laws regarding medicine and public health.

Formal MSN-NP or PA training and Ohio licensure.

Experience working in community health settings preferred.

Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity.

Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and patients.

Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited MSN/ARC-PA program.

Bilingual skills are a plus.
Licenses and Certifications:

Board certification from ANCC/NCCPA or equivalent with a focus in family medicine.

Licensed to practice in Ohio.

Current DEA registration.
Physical Demands:

Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 lbs frequently (occasionally up to 50 lbs).
