About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Practice OB with Delivery (FPOB) to join a respected community health organization in Southern Missouri. As part of a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), you will have the chance to serve a diverse patient population and work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The organization is also a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) approved site, providing eligibility for student loan repayment and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prenatal & Delivery Care: Provide complete prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care to ensure the health and well-being of mothers and infants.

  • Primary Care: Diagnose and manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions for patients of all ages, emphasizing prevention and education.

  • Womens Health: Conduct routine gynecological exams, screenings, and counseling to promote overall womens wellness.

  • Collaboration: Partner with medical professionals, behavioral health specialists, and support staff to deliver integrated, high-quality care.

  • Community Engagement: Participate in local health initiatives and outreach programs that advance the mission of equitable care.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records and treatment documentation.

  • Professional Growth: Stay current with clinical best practices and complete continuing medical education to maintain licensure and board certification.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.

  • Active or eligible Missouri medical license.

  • OB and delivery experience required.

  • Active DEA registration and BNDD license (or eligibility to obtain).

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

  • Commitment to patient-centered, community-focused healthcare.
