Press Operator
Location: Montebello, CA
Pay: $27-$32 per hour (based on experience)

A growing manufacturer of conveyor systems and components, located in Montebello, CA, is currently seeking a Press Operator to join the production team. This role involves operating and programming various press machines, reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Press Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate and program press machines according to job specifications

• Set up and operate Press Brake, Shears, and Punch Press machines

• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production of components

• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to inspect parts and maintain quality

• Utilize hand and power tools for setup and adjustments

• Perform routine quality checks on parts to ensure compliance with company standards

• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Report malfunctions or defects to supervisors

• Collaborate with the team to meet production goals

Press Operator Requirements:

• Experience operating and programming Press Brake, Shears, and Punch Press machines

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Skilled in using precision measuring tools

• Familiarity with hand and power tools

• Strong attention to detail

• Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
