An exciting opportunity is available for a Nocturnist to join a reputable and well-established inpatient care team in Midwest City, Oklahoma. This full-time position offers an excellent work-life balance with a 7-night on to 7 nights off schedule, providing 26 weeks off per year. The role is entirely inpatient-based with no outpatient clinic responsibilities, allowing you to focus exclusively on hospital medicine and patient management.

Key Responsibilities

Provide overnight inpatient coverage, including admissions, evaluations, and cross-coverage of existing patients.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.

Manage acute medical issues and respond to rapid responses or code situations as needed.

Review diagnostic results, adjust treatment plans, and coordinate care transitions.

Complete timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).

Communicate effectively with day teams for seamless handoffs and patient updates.
Qualifications

MD or DO with a valid Oklahoma medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).

Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required.

Prior experience in a hospitalist or nocturnist setting preferred.

Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication, organization, and patient management skills.
