About the role

The Principal Adobe Experience Product Owner leads the end‑to‑end strategy, roadmap, and delivery of digital experiences built on Adobe Experience Cloud, with a primary focus on AEM. The role ensures alignment between business objectives, customer needs, and platform capabilities, driving measurable outcomes through high‑impact releases. A key aspect of the role is to guide innovation by advising on AEM evolution, emerging use cases, and opportunities to maximize value across the Adobe ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Execution

- Own the product vision, long‑term roadmap, and outcome‑based backlog

- Translate business goals into clear user stories and acceptance criteria

- Lead delivery across AEM, DAM, integrations, AI, personalization, analytics, and data initiatives

Innovation & Technical Advisory

- Recommend new AEM capabilities, enhancements, and strategic opportunities

- Advise stakeholders on technical solutions, architecture implications, and digital strategy

- Stay current with Adobes roadmap, releases, and industry trends; maintain close collaboration with Adobe

Performance, Measurement & Optimization

- Define and track KPIs related to engagement, performance, and experiments

- Ensure compliant and accurate data collection for experience measurement

- Identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and remove cross‑platform blockers

UX & Experience Consulting

- Provide strategic UX/UI design guidance aligned with best practices

- Ensure digital experiences are intuitive, customer‑centric, and aligned with business outcomes

Key Deliverables:


- Product roadmap & prioritization framework
- User stories, acceptance criteria & sprint-ready backlog
- KPI framework & performance dashboards
- Technical and innovation recommendations
- Release plans and post‑launch outcome reports

Requirements


Technical Expertise

- Deep knowledge of AEM, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, and Customer Journey Analytics

- Strong understanding of AEM architecture, content models, components, workflows, and integrations

Product Leadership

- 7–10+ years experience in digital product roles, preferably leading AEM programs

- Expertise in backlog management, prioritization, and agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)

Innovation & Consulting

- Ability to identify new opportunities and translate them into product value

- Strong advisory skills for platform evolution, technical solutions, and strategic use cases

UX & Design Knowledge

- Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices and hands‑on experience providing strategic design direction

Soft Skills

- Excellent communication skills (B2+ level of English), stakeholder alignment, and executive‑level storytelling

- Customer‑centric mindset with strong decision‑making capabilities

- Ability to influence, negotiate, and facilitate cross‑functional collaboration
