About our client

Our client is a fintech company simplifying global payments by offering a platform that enables seamless cross-border transactions using blockchain infrastructure. Their service empowers businesses to send and receive money internationally with faster settlement times and improved transparency. Focused on compliance and user experience, they help streamline treasury operations without requiring users to interact directly with cryptocurrencies.

Responsibilities

Although weve outlined some of the responsibilities for the role below, given we are a startup, youll have the opportunity to touch on any other areas you would like to be involved in, including recruiting, customer discovery, product design, and more! Primarily, you will

• Contribute in a full-stack manner to our client's platform and API offering
• Build with a modern stack that is fast & fun - Typescript + React, NestJS + Postgres + Prisma, AWS, Vercel, Docker
• Work with designers and other engineers to translate customer needs into exceptional user interfaces
• Write & test high-quality code to ensure the best experience possible for our customers
• Communicate implementation tradeoffs with a focus on performance and security
• Integrate & implement robust abstractions that minimize complexity and ensure extensibility
• Work directly with our CTO and engineering leadership to develop our codebase and set a high quality bar for the rest of the team

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience shipping and building production-grade, scalable web apps or backend systems
• Proficient with Typescript, React, HTML/CSS, GraphQL
• Strong empathy for end users, with high standards for design and functionality
• High Agency individual that is resourceful and able to deliver results quickly, focusing on end-to-end ownership and code quality
• Honest about timelines and constraints, being proactive on how to best course correct in order to build the best product possible
• Great at communicating implementation tradeoffs, error handling, performance, & load time
