About this role

The Senior Cloud Data Engineer designs, builds scalable cloud‑based data integrations that enable reliable analytics and business insights. The role bridges engineering excellence with business understanding, working closely with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver well‑modeled, tested, and integrated data solutions.

This role assumes 60% allocation (3 days per week)

Responsibilities

- Develop and manage Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform

- Build and orchestrate data pipelines using AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, and related services

- Design, implement, and optimize data models for Snowflake (preferred) or Databricks / Redshift (fallback options)

- Test, validate, and troubleshoot data integrations across multiple systems

- Ensure data quality, performance, scalability, and security standards are met

- Collaborate with data architects, analytics engineers, and platform teams on solution design

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models

- Support stakeholders with data architecture guidance and best practices

- Contribute to documentation, standards, and architectural decision records

Requirements

- Strong experience with AWS (Lambda, Glue, S3, IAM)

- Hands‑on experience with Terraform for infrastructure management

- Data warehouse experience with Snowflake (preferred), Databricks, or Amazon Redshift

- Understanding of data architecture principles and data modeling (dimensional and analytical models)

- Experience testing data pipelines and system integrations

- Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, and cloud security best practices

- Good communication skills with strong level of English (B2+)
