About this role

Design, develop, and maintain SAP Hybris (Commerce Cloud) back-end solutions, including custom extensions, integrations, and APIs. Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability while troubleshooting technical issues and optimizing system performance.


Allocation - 80% (32 hours p/w)


Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end components of SAP Hybris (Commerce Cloud) solutions 
• Implement custom extensions, integrations, and APIs to support e-commerce functionalities 
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability 
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth operation of the platform 
• Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, QA, and business analysts to deliver end-to-end solutions 
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards 
• Optimize database queries and improve system performance - Stay updated with SAP Hybris upgrades, patches, and industry trends

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in back-end development with SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and J2EE
• Experience with Hybris extensions, OCC (Omni Commerce Connect) APIs, and data modeling
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and third-party system integrations (ERP, CRM, Payment, etc.)
• Proficiency in database technologies (MySQL, Oracle, or similar)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (SAP Commerce Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of performance tuning, caching strategies, and security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Good level of English Language (B2+) as you will be working in an English-speaking team
