iOS Developer

Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled iOS Developer with 3–5 years of professional experience to design, develop, and maintain Rakuten Trade's mobile applications. The role focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and high‑performance iOS solutions that support mission‑critical trading and investment workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift and Objective‑C
• Develop and support React / React Native components where applicable
• Ensure applications meet performance, stability, and security requirements
• Integrate mobile applications with backend systems via RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with backend, QA, UX/UI, and product teams
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
• Support App Store releases and post‑production issues
• Apply secure coding best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of professional iOS development experience
• Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective‑C
• Experience with React / React Native
• Understanding of iOS frameworks (UIKit, Foundation, Core Data)
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Git and mobile app lifecycle
• Awareness of mobile security best practices

Nice‑to‑Have

• Experience in fintech or regulated environments
• CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
• Testing frameworks (XCTest, Jest)
• App Store deployment experience

Education
