About the job Virtual Legal Assistant/Paralegal
Schedule: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM MNL TIME
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and case analysis, summarizing findings for attorneys.
Draft, proofread, and prepare legal documents, pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.
Assist in case management, ensuring deadlines, court filings, and client communications are handled efficiently.
Organize and maintain case files, discovery materials, and evidence.
Coordinate with clients, courts, and third parties regarding case progress and required documents.
Prepare trial exhibits, deposition summaries, and case outlines as needed.
Manage legal databases, e-filing systems, and case tracking software.
Conduct initial client intake and gather supporting documentation for cases.
Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, and mediations.
Ensure compliance with legal procedures, confidentiality standards, and firm policies.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal for a U.S.-based law firm.
Strong understanding of legal procedures, case documentation, and court filing requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal research databases, and case management software.
Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases efficiently.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining professionalism.
Bachelor's degree preferred, but candidates with a paralegal certificate or relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
