ICT Specialist L3-On Site

 Job Description:

We are seeking a highly reliable and hands-on ICT Specialist to provide end-to-end technical support across the organization. The role covers Level 1 to Level 3 support, requiring a proactive, can-do attitude, strong technical expertise, and the ability to operate independently while supporting a dynamic industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st to 3rd level IT support in a timely and efficient manner
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain:
    • Network infrastructure
    • Laptops and desktops
    • Printers and peripherals
    • Wi-Fi systems
    • CCTV systems
  • Perform network cabling, termination, and setup
  • Use basic hand tools to install and mount devices (e.g., drilling, fixing equipment)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation
  • Support daily IT operations and ensure minimal downtime
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
  • Coordinate with vendors and external service providers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal users and stakeholders
  • Assist in running IT operations for the office/site as required

    Candidate Profile – Must-Haves
    Education
    • Diploma in IT or a related field OR
    • Minimum 10+ years of proven hands-on experience
    Certifications (Preferred)
    • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., networking, hardware, or systems administration)
    Experience
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT support roles
    Functional Expertise
    • Strong experience in:
      • Network setup and configuration
      • Hardware installation and troubleshooting
      • Wi-Fi and CCTV systems
      • Network cabling and termination

    • Practical, hands-on technical skills (including use of basic tools)
    • Ability to manage IT operations independently when required
    Industry Background
    • Experience in Mining or Industrial environments is highly preferred
