Virtucruit is partnering with a leading mining company in Saudi Arabia to appoint a UG Electrician within the Mining Operations Department.

The UG Electrician will perform electrical repairs, maintenance, and installation in underground mining operations. This role includes inspecting electrical systems, identifying hazards, preparing reports, and supporting safe and efficient operations. The candidate will also provide guidance to peers and contribute to continuous operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adheres to personnel policies, safety, health, environmental, security, cost reduction and improvement programs of the company
• Perform daily routinary/Preventive maintenance activities.
• Perform none routinary project and upgrade work.
• Conduct inspection on electrical equipment and facilities.
• Assess work request jobs from other departments.
• Work with single and three phase equipment's.
• Installation and troubleshooting of motor control (Direct online, forward-reverse, star-delta and etc.)
• Assist superior in preparing inventory list of electrical equipment and all spare parts.
• Reads and interprets electrical diagrams
• Installs specified electrical equipment and devices in position
• Tests and evaluates newly installed and existing electrical equipment and devices for any abnormalities and performs necessary correction or revisions
• Repairs and reconditions defective electrical equipment
• Operates electrical equipment/machineries as directed by supervisor, underground mine shaft elevator
• Prepares and submits accomplishment reports
• Attends to pep talk and other meetings of the department
• Performs other related functions that may assigned by superior.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Technical Diploma / Vocational in Electrical or High School with equivalent years of experience.
• 5+ years' experience in Underground Mine electrical maintenance.
• Good English communication skills (both oral and written)
