Traffic Manager
Job Description:
VirtuCruit is partnering with a leading events and exhibitions organization to appoint a Traffic Manager who will oversee the workflow of creative projects, manage resources across teams, and ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced, seasonal environment. This role is critical in maintaining efficiency across design, operations, and production, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Job Purpose
The Traffic Manager will be responsible for managing the intake, planning, and delivery of creative and event-related projects. Acting as the central hub between creative, production, and account management teams, the Traffic Manager ensures clear communication, smooth operations, and timely delivery of all outputs while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Pitching & Intake
- Oversee the intake and review of event and creative briefs, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
- Assign internal resources across creative, design, and production functions, balancing workloads.
- Establish timelines during the pitching stage and communicate milestones clearly to stakeholders.
Planning & Coordination
- Manage the full lifecycle of projects, from briefing through execution and post-event reporting.
- Act as the central point of coordination between creative, operations, and account management.
- Continuously analyze workflows and implement improvements for efficiency.
- Identify risks or bottlenecks early and propose proactive solutions.
Delivery & Quality Control
- Maintain project schedules, adapting where needed to meet tight deadlines.
- Ensure all creative and event deliverables meet internal standards and client expectations.
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and adjustments.
Reporting & Post-Event Review
- Deliver regular status reports to senior leadership, covering progress, resource utilization, and risks.
- Facilitate post-event reviews to capture lessons learned and refine processes.
- Archive completed projects for easy reference and future use.
- Recommend new tools, systems, or practices to streamline traffic and workflow management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 8 years in a Traffic Manager or similar role within a creative, advertising, or events/exhibitions agency.
- Proven experience managing event-related creative projects, including branding, 3D design, video, and digital campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of event production workflows and integrated marketing.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Wrike, MS Project).
- Background in agency/360° environments is highly preferred.
