The Store Operations Director VisilabGroup is responsible for the operations of all stores in Switzerland. He/she is responsible for the entire store ecosystem, including staff planning, inventory, customer experience, communication, and business projects, and ensures that each store location operates efficiently and contributes to the overall success of the group.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead retail operations strategies, implement best practices across the retail network and business in the OPCO.
  • Manage, develop, amend existing store operations procedures with EMEA OPS team to align with current and future requirements of the business (including stock management).
  • Streamline the backend functions and daily operation and work of cross functional executives.
  • Manage and develop operations KPIs in coordination with the EMEA regional store ops team to measure and review performance.
  • Lead internal communication to store to reinforce alignment, engagement, procedure compliance and synergies across various projects (Field, Marketing, Finance, HR, Training, Products, Asset protection).
  • Lead store support and monitor service level provided by different functions.
  • Own staffing and workforce planning with Finance, Sales Directors, and General Management, and share with EMEA regional Store ops team.
  • Own the process of target setting and communication with Finance, Sales Directors, and General Management.
  • Own operations budget and delivery efficiencies in the P&L.
  • Act as a link between Field and Regional leadership to priorities business needs and requirements.
  • Manage and support business as usual requirement as necessary.
  • Work with functional/corporate leadership to define and develop business projects both initiated locally and centrally.
  • Lead projects impacting the processes in store and be an active part of projects affecting the sales journey (i.e. new tool implementation, launch of new processes defined during the transformation phase).

Your Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors / Masters degree ideally in Business Administration, Business Management or Engineering related field.
  • Solid experience with the operation(s) of a larger retailer chain in Switzerland (advantageous).
  • In-depth knowledge of retail processes and experienced in working in retails store operations and activities.
  • Track record in setting business priorities with a fast improvement output.
  • Experienced and at ease in working closely with people managers on all hierarchical levels.
  • Seasoned leader who can challenge, inspire, motivate, and lead big teams.
  • Track record of client centric thinking and client centric behaviour and behavioural change.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Outstanding process mind and thinking with the capability of taking a helicopter view when required.
  • Technology Proficiency (from POS to inventory management)
